In the Chitwan National Park, you can see the Chestnut-capped Babbler, Small Pratincole, Blue-bearded Bee-eater, River Lapwing, Long-tailed Shrike, Emerald Dove, White-browed Wagtail, Collared Falconet, Changeable Hawk-eagle, Brown Crake, Red Jungle fowl, Indian Peafowl, Striped Tit-babbler, Jungle Owlet, Black-rumped, Himalayan and Greater Flamebacks, Red-headed Trogon, Small Minivet, Spot-winged Starling, Pale-footed and Spotted Bush-warblers. A lot more species like the Grey-headed Woodpecker can also be found in this reserve.

The Koshi Tappu Wildlife Reserve in the eastern Terai is a bird watcher�s paradise. Here you can see the Black Ibis, Honey Kites, Ospreys, Black Headed Orioles, Peregrine Falcon, Partridges, and Storks. Rare species of birds like the Bengal florican and Sarus Crane also find a safe refuge in this reserve.

Starting from Kathmandu, the tour reaches Bardia National Park of mid-West Nepal and it drives through plains of Terai to Chitwan National Park in Mid Nepal and to Koshi Tappu in the East of Nepal. It is relaxed and slow paced tours offering diverse species of bird sighting. The drive from Bardia to Chitwan grants interesting sightings of Vultures in Dang and in Nawal Parasi. And the Chitwan to Koshi route offers beautiful birds sighting by the bank of Rapti River. The tours are best during the winter. Day 1Arrival in Nepal

We highly suggest that you arrive in Nepal at least one full day before the intended date of your tour as it will give you an opportunity to allow for any jetlag. Our representative will receive you at the airport and take you to Three Star Hotel. Depending upon your arrival time, you many explore ”Thamel”, the tourist hub in Kathmandu. In the evening, we host a welcome dinner at a typical Nepalese Restaurant with local music and ethnic dance. Overnight at hotel in Kathmandu. Included meal: Dinner

Day 2Birds watching around kathmandu

Drive from Kathmandu to Chobhar and hike up to Dakshinkali and Sheshnarayan to view fascinating bird watching scene. Rest overnight in Kathmandu.

Full day bird watching in Fulchoki (2735m) and Godavari botanical Garden. In Godavari the Royal Botanical Garden records over 100 species of birds including the lesser racket-tailed Drongo. Rest overnight.

Day 4Drive to Bardia National Park

Take an early morning drive to Bardia National Park. Enjoy the bridwatching around and fascinating sunset view. Overnight in Bardia.

Day 5Birds watching in Bardia National park

Included meal: Breakfast and Dinner
Full day Jungle activities like elephant back safari, walking inside the Bardia National park. Excursion in Koshi Tappu for bridwatching. Overnight in Bardia.

Day 6Drive to Chitwan national park

Included meal: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Take an early morning drive to Chitwan National Park. In the evening we go for a village walk and sunset view at the bank of Rapti River. Overnight in Chitwan.

Day 7Full day activities at Chitwan national park

Full day Jungle activities in Chitwan including canon ride, Jungle walk, and elephant ride. After dinner enjoy a culture program performed by local Tharu villagers. Overnight in Chitwan.

Day 8Full day activities at Chitwan national park

Day 13Kathmandu valley Excursion

After breakfast, we start for a full day excursion around Kathmandu valley. Enjoy the fascinating sightseeing area and cultural tour. You can spend the evening leisurely, perhaps catch up on some last minute shopping and celebrate dinner together with Trek & Climb staffs. Overnight in Kathmandu.

Time to say good bye to the mountains as your journey in Nepal comes to an end today! We hope you enjoyed the tour with us, and are sure you’ll be back in your trip somewhere in the Himalaya again. Depending upon your flight time, you can either indulge yourself with personal activities, explore Thamel – the shopping paradise, go for a walk nearby or, take rest. Approximately 3 hours before your scheduled flight a representative from Trek & Climb will transfer you to the airport. On your way home you’ll have plenty of time to plan your next adventure in the wonderful country of Nepal.
