Four days school is the ultimate introduction to the skills and thrills of kayaking. Anyone can learn with the support and guidance of our instructors.
Itinerary
Day 1 :
Practice on Fewa Lake
You will splash out on Fewa Lake, Pokhara to build your balance and confidence. We will teach basic paddling strokes, rescue techniques, braces, the Eskimo roll, and wet exits.
Day 2 :
Drive from Pokhara to Damauli and start start Kayaking on Seti River
You will experience currents, eddies, holes, and waves on the stunning Seti River. We cook lunch on the beach and set up camp while you practice your new skills.
Day 3 :
We paddle downriver encountering gentle rapids to gain more experience in the river environment. After lunch, we have a focused skills session in the safe environment of a quiet river Eddie.
Day 4 :
Time to hit the rapids! Using all your new skills we will run the river’s more challenging rapids, encountering some bigger waves and longer rapid systems. Your Instructors will be with you at all times to demonstrate correct lines and to help you increase your skill and confidence levels.
We finish with lunch on the river, depart for your destination.
