Chitwan Lumbini Pokhara Tour starts with a jungle safari and wildlife adventure in Chitwan National Park observing globally threatened species together with a cultural presentation of indigenous Tharu people.

Itinerary

You will be welcomed by our staff standing with your name card in the airport arrival terminal and transferred to your hotel by a private vehicle. There will be a dinner program in one of the Nepalese restaurants with typical Nepalese cuisine. There will be a small meeting about the trip in the evening.

Morning Mountain Flight and Day Kathmandu Sightseeing.
Today after breakfast you will start a guided tour to several of the most historical and spiritual attractions in Kathmandu. Some of these landmarks are considered World Heritage Sites; including, the sacred Hindu temple of Pashupatinath, the famous ‘Monkey Temple’ Swayambunath, and the Buddhist shrine of Bouddhanath which is one of the largest Stupas in the world. Along with it, you will visit the medieval palaces of Kathmandu, Bhaktapur, and Patan, these palaces are rich in stone and wood sculptures glorifying the rich artistic history of ancient Nepal.

After breakfast at the hotel, you will drive or Fly to Pokhara. Driving takes about 6 to 7 hours and by flight, it takes about 25 minutes. The rest of the time you will visit Phewa Lake and boating around there.

Morning Visit Sarangkot and day Pokhara Sightseeing.
Today is the most important day of your tour because you are going to Sarangkot, a major viewpoint to see the Himalayas. Early morning you will drive to Sarangkot to view the magnificent view of the Annapurna range, Machhapuchchhre, Himchuli, Manaslu, and many others. After spending a couple of hours in Sarangkot you will get back to the Hotel for Breakfast. After some rest, you will have sightseeing around Pokhara. You will visit Phewa Lake, Begnas Lake, Mahendra Cave, Seti River Gorge, Barahi Temple, Mountain Museum, World Peace Pagoda, etc which are the most popular spots.

After breakfast drive to Chitwan from Pokhara. You will be welcomed to the resort with welcome drinks and after refreshing at the resort, you will explore and walk around Tharu village who is an ethnic group indigenous to the Tarai region. Also village walk you will have a sunset view of the Rapti river and transfer to the resort.

Today you will discover why the National Park holds an important place in preserving the wild lives that are rapidly getting extinct from this planet. You’re almost sure to spot the one-horn rhinos, egrets, woodpeckers, and deer in their natural habitat. The Park is also home to rhinoceros, tigers, leopards, sloth bears, wild bison, genetic dolphin, 500 birds, butterflies, as well as the near-extinct Gharials crocodiles, and 543 species of birds that include critically endangered Bengal florican, the vulnerable lesser adjutant, Grey-crowned Prinia and etc.

Drive to Lumbini from Chitwan, O/N at Hotel on BB Basis ( Lumbini).
After Chitwan, we will head towards Lumbini, the birthplace of Lord Buddha. It’s a quite long drive and can take about 3/4 hours.

After breakfast, you will have the Lumbini sightseeing place to visit a Japanese temple, Chinese temple, ASOKA PILLER, Vietnam Temple Buddha birthplace, Maya Devi Garden, and many more other Buddha stupas.

After breakfast, you will drive to Kathmandu which can take 7/8 hours or you will also have a flight option which will take about 30 min. Evening relax your time by shopping for souvenirs.

Day 10 :
Departure

Our representative will transfer you to the Airport for your final departure.

Elephant Safari/ Jeep Safari: A traditional way of exploring the jungle. From the elephant’s back or Jeep Safari, you can see over the high grass and discover the animals there.

Colorful Tharu Village Visit: Experience the culture and traditions of the Tharu people living close to the jungle and wildlife for centuries. In symbiosis and battle with the wild animals. Nature or Jungle Walk: Exploring the area by foot, watching birds, animals, and plants. Our experts can take you to good places for spotting a tiger, rhino, or any animal.

Elephant Bath: At the Rapti river you will take a bath with an elephant. Elephant bath is very good for your health.

Cannoning trip: A typical handmade Canoe will take you along the famous Rapti River where you will encounter the Harmless Gharial and the mud-drenched crocodile, basking in the sun at the Riverbanks. Moreover, many aquatic birds can be seen on the way.

Tharu Stick Dance: A melodious tribal dance performed by men with rhyme or drums and the clashing of sticks. The dance shows how rhinos and other wild animals are scared away from the village.
