The Buddhist Circuit of Nepal is a complete tour package that covers all the significant places related to Lord Buddha in Nepal. Actually you can say that this tour is a visual aid to Buddha’s life and development of Buddhism in Nepal. You will be able to know about Buddha’s detail information, his birth place, place of his enlightenment and his teachings. Although this is mainly a pilgrimage tour, you will also be able to see the great archaeological victory of mankind. There are 62 archaeological sites in Lumbini Region exhibiting different event’s in Buddha’s life.

Buddhist influences are evident in the culture of Nepal because Buddha was born in Lumbini, Nepal and his clans – the Shakyas later moved to Kathmandu valley and helped establish Buddhism.

The main attractions of this tour are Swayambhunath Stupa (Monkey Temple), Boudhanath and Namobuddha in Kathmandu, great Ashoka Pillar, Sacred Pond, Temple of lords, Maya Devi Temple and remains of Old monastery in Lumbini, religious and archaeological sites at Devdaha and Ramagram.

Buddhist circuit, Nepal and trip is designed for Buddhist devotees and all interested travelers covering the important paths of Buddha including all major holy and historical sites; Kathmandu monasteries, Namo Buddha, Lumbini in Nepal where he was born, lived as a prince. Day 1
Arrival in Nepal

Arrive at Tribhuban international airport Kathmandu. Representative from our company receive and transfer you to Hotel.

Day 2
Fly to Lumbini

Flight from Kathmandu to Bhairahawa for Lumbini. Visit to Lumbini Mayadevi Temple, the Sacred Garden for SUNSET, at the Birth Place of Sakyamuni Buddha. Stay overnight at Hotel.

Day 3
Sightseeing at ancient Kapilvastu

Tilaurakot (the capital of the Sakya kingdom of Kapilavastu) Kudan (the ancient Nyagrodha monastery built by King Suddhodana for the Buddha and his community who visited Kapilavastu for the first time after enlightenment) Gotihawa (the nirvana stupa of Krakuchhanda Buddha where Emperor Asoka erected a pillar and built a stupa) Niglihawa (the birthplace of the Kanakamuni, here emperor Asoka visited and erected a pillar with inscription). And stay overnight at Hotel.

Day 4
Drive to Pokhara

Drive to Pokhara on the way visit Rama Grama. The only original relic stupa built by the Koliya of Rama Grama. Stay overnight at Hotel.

Day 5
Sunrise at Sarangkot

Early morning drive to Sarangkot to see Sunrise and at same time panoramic view of Mt. Annapurna, Dhaulagiri and Manaslu. Afternoon Pokhara sightseeing tour. Stay overnight at Hotel.

Day 6
Drive to Kathmandu

Departure for Kathmandu by drive and enjoy river valley and greenery hills.

Day 7
Sightseeing at Kathmandu

Full day sightseeing of Monkey Temples Swoyambhunath Stupa & Pashupatinath Temple, Kathmandu Durbar Square & evening walking around Old Thamel Market. Overnight at Hotel.

Day 8
Explore Namo Buddha and Nagarkot

Full day Sightseeing Tour of Namo Buddha and drive to Nagarkot (Hill Station). O/N at Hotel.

Day 9
Departure

Final departure for your onward destination.
