The TIJI (Ten Chi) Festival is the most auspicious festival in the Upper Mustang region of Nepal. Dorje Jono fought and defeated this demon and the festival celebrates his victory with prayer chants and colorful dances. Chhode Monastery at Lo Manthang in Upper Mustang is famous for its performance of Vajrakila practice and ritual.

Itinerary
It is almost brushing the sides of the mighty Kali Gandaki River gorge and the massive Dhaulagiri mountain along the way up. As you go up, the landscape changes from the lush greenery of the Pokhara area to the barren, rocky terrain of Mustang. Your road follows the Kali Gandaki. Stay overnight at the Lodge.
After breakfast, formalities to enter the Upper Mustang trek to Chele via Tangbe & Chhusang. The trek continues onward to Chele, where you stay overnight at the Lodge.
Trek from Chele to Syangboche (3800m.) via Chunsi Cave and Samer (3660m.) and enjoy the view of the Mountain. Stay overnight at the Lodge.
Trek from Syangboche to Ghami (3500m.) via Ghiling (3570m.), Nyi La Pass (4090m.). Overnight stay at Ghami.
Trek from Ghami to Charang (3500m) via Drakmar, see the red wall, Muila Bhangyang Pass (4170m), and Ghar Gompa. Overnight stay.

Trek Lo-Manthang (3750 m) to Dhigaon (3390m). 5-6 hours. Overnight stay at Dhigaon.
Trek from Dhigaon to Tangge (3240). 5-6 hours. Overnight stay at Tangge.
Trek from Tangge (3240) to Chhuksang (29800m). Overnight stay at Chhuksang.
Trek from Chhusang to Muktinath (3,710 m), Gyu La Pass (4077m.). Overnight stay at Muktinath.
Trek from Muktinath to Thini Via Lupra (2800m). Overnight stay at Thini.
Trek Thini to Jomsom (2720m) for ½ hour, and Drive Jomsom to Pokhara.

The Tiji Festival will be celebrated for 3 days, i.e., on 01st, 02nd, and 03rd Jun 2027.
We organized 4 WD SUV (Sport Utility Vehicle) and the driver is experienced and familiar in this region.

- 2 nights’ accommodation in Pokhara on a twin-sharing basis on the BB plan.
