Safari in the pristine jungles of Bardiya is an unforgettable experience that will remain with you for a lifetime. The national park is home to countless species of mammals, reptiles, and birds, some of which like the Bluebell is not found in Chitwan.

Overview

Bardiya National Park is one of the most pristine conservation areas in the Tarai and is home to the endangered Royal Bengal tiger and Nepal’s famous One-horned rhinoceros besides many other mammals and reptiles. The park located in the far western district of Bardiya is bordered by the Karnali River in the west, the Churia range in the north, and the Babai River flows right through.

Itinerary

Day 1 :
Arrival

On your arrival at Nepalgunj Airport or Ambasa Stand, our representative will receive you. You will then be transferred to Lodge/ Resort where you will be offered refreshment and be given a briefing on activities and its facilities. After being given your programs for the day your room will then be allocated to you.
Village tour to a nearby ethnic Tharu village where you will learn more about the life and lifestyle of the Tharu and visit Elephant breeding central. Dinner & stay overnight.

The wake-up call followed by tea or coffee. Jeep safari for an hour. During the trip an excellent opportunity to get the lifetime experience on the jeep safari and to see the wildlife of the Park. jungle walking. Dinner & overnight. Jungle walk and Bird Watching an excellent opportunity to see a Bengal tiger and a great many species of birds found in Bardia. Visit the Crocodile Breeding Center and the Tharu Cultural Museum. Dinner & stay overnight.

The wake-up call followed by tea or coffee. Drive to Rafting point. Rafting started. It is wild sightseeing Rafting, this program has been introducing to show you the wildlife from the different part of the park, will be stopped in more than 3/4 places and will be taken inside the jungle for the wildlife. An excellent opportunity for bird watching and Dolphin has seen Pack lunch will be provided. Dinner & stay overnight.

The wake-up call followed by tea or Coffee. Jeep Drive an excellent opportunity to see wild animals and you will also encounter many other smaller mammals that have made Bardia their home. Jungle walk/ Hindu Temple, Tharu museum, crocodile breeding center visit and stay overnight.

Departure

The wake-up call followed by tea or coffee. Bird watching tour. Departure for onward Journey.

Is it safe to go jungle on foot?

Which is the best season to come in Nepal?

Nepal is a land of all seasons. Adventurous activities can be carried out throughout the year. Autumn (September to November) and spring (March to May) are the best climatic seasons suitable. However, in summer (June to August), we could arrange some activities. In winter (December to February), we could go to Koshi Tappu and Bardia national park for bird watching, Chitwan National Park for jungle safari, bird watching, boating, etc.

Is it safe to go jungle on foot?

It is not allowed even to Nepalese go to inside the National Park without license holder Naturalist Guide. Guide is trained about the route and how to be safe in the jungle. That is why it is safe going in the heart of the forest with our experience naturalist Guide.

What is the best way to go to jungle?

It depends on your interest. There are option Jungle walk, Elephant ride, or Jeep drive. Jungle walking is the best way to go deep in the forest without noise. So there is more chance to see wild animals.
