The Millennium Trek, which is also known as Mid-hill Ridgeline Trek, lies on the south of Pokhara. This trek offers an opportunity to experience a local lifestyle, magnificent mountain views, villagers who open their doors and hearts to visitors in an area untouched by foreigners and even the domestic visitors.

The diverse landscape, including forests, ancient rice terraces, and bird watching opportunities, Millennium cave with underground waterfalls, ancient temples and historical forts (kots) also adds another attraction in this trek

An unusual trek, easily accessible from Pokhara and relatively easy can be undertaken by most age groups, no altitude problems and access roads from most of trek in case of emergency.  Length of trek can be adjusted to suit time needs.

In a clear day during the Millennium trek we can see the long range of Himalaya varying from Kanjirowa in the western Nepal to Ganesh himal close to Langtang.

Day 1: Pokhara to Rajasthal (1100 m.)

Day 2: Trek to Gharedi (980 m.)

Day 3: Trek to Pokharichhap (1444 m.)

Day 4: Trek to Pelkachaur (1439 m.)

Day 5: Trek to Budhakot (1709 m.)

Day 6: Trek to Kusum Bhanjyang  and drive to Pokhara 

Day 1
Pokhara to Rajasthal (1100 m.) 4-5 Hrs.

Drive from Pokhara to Gachhepani and trek to Rajasthal. Stay overnight at Rajasthal.

Day 2
Rajasthal to Gharedi (980 m.) 4-5 Hrs.

Another day of trekking from Rajasthal to Gharedi. Stay overnight at Gharedi.

Day 3
Trek to Pokharichhap (1444 m.) 5-6 Hrs.

Trek from Gharedi to Pokharichhap.

Day 4
Trek to Pelkachaur (1439 m.) 5-6 Hrs.

Another day of trekking from Pokharichhap to Pelkachaur. Stay overnight at Pelkachaur

Day 5
Trek to Budhakot (1709 m.) 5-6 Hrs.

Trek to Budhakot

Day 6
Trek to Kusum Bhanjyang (1245 m.) 5-6 Hrs. And drive to Pokhara 2 Hrs.

Trek to Kusum Bhanjyang via Manakamana Temple (1609 m.) and

drive to Pokhara via Rambachha, Syangja.

Cost Includes:

  • Accommodation in Tea House or Home stay
  • Nepali Foods (Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner) along the trail.
