Lower Kaligandaki River Rafting

6 Days

The Lower Kaligandaki River is a stunning section of the river almost forgotten since it was separated from the more wild & famous Mighty Kali.  What remains is a spectacular & pristine 6-day river journey through jungle rich with wildlife, waterfalls, remote villages, and stunning white sandy beaches perfect for setting up camp under the stars.

We only run this bespoke trip a couple of times a year in order to preserve its incredible natural beauty.  An angler’s dream, this river is home to a variety of fish including the golden mahseer, and flows towards the popular Chitwan National Park.

Gentle enough for families, but with the odd whitewater drop for a little excitement, the Lower Kaligandaki River is also a great option for those looking to learn whitewater kayaking away from the crowds.
